About the event
This weekend retreat offers women a chance to step away from their busy lives and emerse themselves in the outdoors to find healing and personal growth while collaborating with nature. Come enjoy a distraction free therapeutic campout while building community with other women. This getaway offers the simplicity of camp life blended with therapeutic, somatic and mindfulness practices. Retreat attendees can expect to let go of their daily concerns to focus on themselves while we provide your camp essentials, healthy seasonal faire, 24hr snacks and refreshments and some little comforts and pretty surprises sprinkled throughout the experience to create a true arcady for you. This retreat is designed for women who are missing that connection with themselves, nature and community. It is designed for women looking for personal growth and healing and who are wanting to start or strenghten their own rituals around self care and self exploration. We will be offering community gatherings for introductions, intention setting, journaling, processing and just enjoying the great outdoors together! Specific offerings include Sound Bath, Forest Therapy, Waterfall hike, Women circle, Forest Meditation, Journaling, Smores, Dancing around fire, Community and connection!! Come find peace and tranquility camping along the river with other women.
Your arcady is located in the upper Hood River Valley. This peaceful retreat Off Hwy 35 has easy access to Mt. Hood. The Hood River runs alongside the campground with all sites having river access. The simplicity of camping at this retreat location means No Running Water, electricity or sewer hook ups. Pit toilets are available. Trash receptacles are available around the facility. Nearby trailhead to Tamanawas Falls which is enjoyable for all ages. Tamanawas Falls Trail is 3.4 miles out and back according to AllTrails and is moderate in difficulty. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/oregon/tamanawas-falls-trail?sh=07hr8u . We will access this site by personal vehicles(carpool allowed) and enjoy a nature hike together on Saturday of the retreat.
2 Camping options are available which include BYOT (bring your own tent/camp essentials) or Camp Provided where we provide your tent/camp set up with all the basic camping essentials for the weekend. Tents will be individual but will be on a shared camp site. All meals are included and food allergies and accommodations will be made to the best of staff ability. After you register for the retreat you will be sent an additional questionnaire to specify any dietary restrictions or other personal requests, considerations or accomodations you would like us to consider. We make no guarantees that all requests will be honored and will refund your purchase price if it is determined we cannot meet your needs. We will keep you on our mailing list for future event opportunities if it is determined this is not the right fit.
